You must choose at least two (if not three) categories :
PETITE FEMALE MODELS WTD (Westwood)
I want to do:
1) Glamour, Pin-Up, calendar style, (theme: Christmas, Valentine, Eastern = pictures with flowers, fruits, candies, christmas ornaments, etc.) and if you are Asians or Hispanics: Polynesian outfit, exotic/jungle style. Studio setting, background paper. No nudity.
Note: If you need pictures for your portfolio, this would also be perfect because it covers everything: headshot, casual, print, lifestyle, semi-fashion.
2) Book cover (Detective novel) :
I have a project doing photos in the damsel-in-distress style, Detective novel, (50's style, some tongue-in-cheek, some serious). There is no nudity for this particular project. Bikinis, Bathrobe, nightgown, short short, T-shirt, etc. is fine.
3) If this apply to you: Figure, Fine Art.
4) Seek also actress for video work.
I'm looking for a few sweet petite models with the girl-next-door look, slender, cute, expressive eyes. For a damsel-in-distress video modeling. There's no nudity.
5) Or would you be interested in participating in a TV show-pilot on the same subject with various fun little games ? :
For a fun show we seek female contestants. Petite and natural are preferred.

This is film/video. At this stage we are testing.

You are petite, slim, easy-going, reliable.
Asian, Hispanics, or dark hair, tanned is preferred but it's not a must.

For details about a specific project, I always discuss it with the model to see if we are on the same page. I believe that shooting should always be fun for everybody.

Seek female model for a photography workshop
MODELS: Always looking for new or experienced models for our photo-shoots. Get great pictures from different photographers with different styles in a safe, fun way.
AND… Get to do a private shoot on another day with me, a professional photographer with years of experience.
Must be reliable.
COMPENSATION: A or B
A) What the model get out of this:
First; experience if she has none or little.
Second; pictures for her portfolio. She might be a new model who needs to build her portfolio or an experienced model who wants to refresh/ rebuild her portfolio.
She can do so without paying hundreds of dollars (or more) to a photographer.
The photographers attending the shoot will give photos/CD to the model.
Third; In addition to the photos she receives from the photographers, I will also, if the model wants, do a private shoot with her another day where we can concentrate 1 on 1 to create pictures she needs or want. No time limits. Completely free.
I am a professional photographer with years of experience.
I did a lot of portfolios with newbies/ beginners. I'm very patient, respectful and soft spoken. My photo-shoots are always fun.
Fourth; Opportunities.
Many photographers attending the workshop like to set up a private shoot with the model another day instead of sharing again with 4 other photographers. You set up your own rates.
Fifth; Networking.
Many photographers who are attending these shoots are creative and often do other things as well (for example short movies, music videos, commercials, etc). It can't hurt to know them !
And Lastly; It's always fun !
B) Or if you prefer, instead of all the above, you can receive financial compensation, if reasonable and IF YOU HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE.
If you apply for Artistic nude there will always be financial compensation.
How much should be discussed.
So don't hesitate ! If you're a model, ask to pose for our photo shoots and/or workshop.

But there's a catch: You MUST be RELIABLE ! I cannot afford to have flaky or undecided models. If I set up a shoot, rent a studio and pay for it, sent invitation to photographers to attend and receive payment for it, and you don't show up, I lose money and I also lose reputation (to the studio, to the other photographers). Some photographers will drive an hour to come to the studio. If the shoot is canceled not only will they be angry but you can imagine they will not trust me again. I simply cannot afford such a situation to happen.
This is why I require a refundable good faith deposit.
A $25 deposit (thru Pay Pal) will be required by the model to assure you will show up.
When you show up, I will give you this back.

I'm not a homeless person salivating for your $25 !
I move along high circles… I have friends who are millionaires, businessmen and politicians. I DON'T NEED YOUR STUPID $25 !
But it's a way to motivate you to show up. I will give it back to you as soon as you show up. Besides Pay Pal has a purchase protection: If something goes wrong, you tell them and they reimburse you. (But don't worry; I will not steal your money.)
When you show up, I will give it back to you.
I will gladly sign a paper (contract) saying that I must give it back once you show up.
Everybody pays a deposit; I pay a deposit to the studio to make sure that I have the studio at that day and time. The photographers pays me a deposit to reserve a spot (there's a limit on how many photographers can attend), etc.
I really don't like to do this but I encountered too many flaky models in my life.
On the positive side, If you are serious about modeling and I know that you are reliable, I will do my best to help you as much as I can.
If you refuse to make a deposit, you can still come but I will hire other models as well (since I'm not sure if you will come) and the model who confirmed their presence (by putting a deposit) will receive priority.
When you show up there may or may not be time for you to pose. It all depends on the shoot, the models (pro ? amateur? ) etc.
I may void this rule if we meet for an interview and I have a feeling that you are serious about this. Or if I receive references about you from other photographers. If we don't meet but you just tell me on the phone or in an email that you will show up, this rule will definitely be enforced !
This apply to amateurs, newbies, inexperienced, etc.
Pro models are different.
This is only for the workshop. It does NOT apply to any other shoots.
